REPRODUCTIVE polo PROGRAM

We are happy to introduce Cria Caballeros dedicated to breed, raise, train and play top polo ponies available in Arizona with the best studs worldwide. The polo ponies have evolved from thoroughbreds by selecting the best ponies that have adapted for polo and their genetics lines have been improved in USA, England, Australia, New Zealand and Argentina since the early 80’s. 

 I decided to breed to the best available ponies using the latest technologies from Artificial insemination (AI), embryo transfer (ET) to intracellular sperm injection (ICSI) procedures and embryo vitrification. 

What do we look in a great polo pony? We're looking for quiet ponies that are easy to ride by either a kid, beginner or a professional player. In addition, they need to have longevity, meaning decreased tendency to injuries given a great care in their lives. They should have a great mouth to be able to stop and turn without too much effort. We are looking for a very easy and smooth horse that has a reining horse qualities and speed agility of  a racing horse and being at ease regardless of the pressure.

Currently we have Machitos Precoz, M. Gardel, Open Medallon and Open Concerto and GT Argives for our reproductive program. 

Our ICSI program has yield embryos from great playing mares and our  studs.
